Who are we?
My name is Yana and I'd love to share with you why I created WN.
I live with a small heart prolapse, so my diet and physical activity are vital for my health. But isn't it for all of us? After a series of symptoms such as fatigue, muscle pain, insomnia - it turned out that my body struggles to absorb certain nutrients like folate and B vitamins. Let's just say I've learnt firsthand how nutrition deficiencies can impact our health. The majority of people often forget Y nutrition is so important for the overall wellbeing.
My mother- who has a medical backgrond - thinks outside of the box, hence why I wanted to include her in the team.
I am passionate about helping others, because too many people claim to offer 'personalised' programs, when they're really not. Beyond that, I believe that health starts with an individual expression of the self.
I love jazz, art, and fashion. I moved from BG to the UK, and my heart now belongs to both places. One of my favourite things about the UK is its sustainable love for fashion with purpose- like finding a vintage piece while supporting a heart charity!
Whynutrition is focused on evidence-based health information, but I also added a 'fun & culture' blog. As holistic health means taking care of your body & mind!
While unsure what the future holds for Whynutrition, I am certain that I want it to bring value to people.  We are starting as a family business, partnering with other professionals and we'll give our best to help you achieve your health goal and reconnect to your body, inner harmony and confidence.
